Consider joining us next summer for both teaching and learning opportunities for students of all ages!

Attention Adult Amateurs and Teachers needing time on secondary instruments!

ASTA-OK will be hosting a string camp for adults!

August 14-16, 6:30-8:30 PM & August 17, 1:00-5:00 PM

10 total hours of instruction for $125, free for ASTA members and Music Education Majors

Classes on Wednesday-Friday will focus on specific techniques, including, but not limited to:

  • Intonation & Vibrato

  • Bowing & Articulation

To achieve this we will have teachers for each instrument and break into sectionals to discuss instrument specific techniques.

Saturday afternoon will be focused on ensemble skills and playing in a string orchestra, creating the perfect opportunity for our local string teachers to gain extra experience on their secondary instruments.

The camp will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10100 Ridgeview Dr, The Village, OK 73120.
